Earlier this month, Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10 board examination result were declared. The pass percentage of students in the Class 10 board examination this year was 2% higher than 2017. State education minister C Raveendranath said 97.84% students passed this year as compared to 95.98% in 2017.

The pass percentage was highest in Ernakulam district at 99.12 and lowest in Wayanad, where it was 93.87.
