RPF and RPSF (Railway) Constable Job Openings 2018: Official Notification For Railway Recruitment For Over 9,500 Posts

New Delhi, July 29, 2018: In a major recruitment drive, the Indian Railways Recruitment Board has released the RPF/ RPSF Recruitment 2018 notification to fill 9,500 vacancies has been released in the Employment News week 19-25 May 2018. As per which, the online application for Railway Protection Force (RPF) Constable Recruitment 2018 and Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2018 is scheduled to begin on 1st June 2018, 10 AM. Interested candidates must apply on or before 30th June 2018.

The Eligibility Criteria is that the applicant must be 10th passed from a recognized education board while the applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 25 Years according to reports published in latestly.com

In 2018, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released over one lakh posts for Group C, D and RPF while the recruitment procedure is believed to open more for 9,739 vacancies for the posts of SI and Constable in Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force. The selected candidates will be eligible to receive a monthly pay of Rs 5,200-20,200/- along with Grade Pay of Rs2,000/-

Candidates willing to apply for online application must note that the procedure will start from June 1, 2018 and will continue till June 30, 2018. The notification was released on the official website – indianrailways.gov.in. According to reports, the Indian Railways will conduct online examinations for hiring in about 90,000 posts in group C and group D and for another 9,500 openings in the Railway Protection Force.  The online registration process for the Railway Protection Force recruitment examination will begin soon.

Earlier, Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal took to Twitter to inform that the upcoming RPF recruitment 2018 notification where 50 per cent of the vacancies will be reserved for Women. In RPF Recruitment 2018, out of the total number of posts, 4517 are reserved for female candidates. The last date to apply for the posts is June 30, 2018.

Being one of the largest recruitment drive this year, the Indian Railways will conduct online examinations for hiring in about 95,000 posts. It must be noted that over one crore online applications have been received for assistant loco pilots and technicians’ jobs against the 26,502 loco pilot and technicians’ posts and 62,907 Group D posts open for recruitment.
