Karnataka to study steps of Delhi government to improve education: Chief Minister

New Delhi, September 05, 2018: In order to enhance the quality of education in Karnataka, the Chief Minister, HD Kumaraswamy has directed the state’s Education Department to observe the steps taken by Delhi government in the same direction.

Not only this, even the Chief Minister has directed the officials to submit a comprehensive report on improving the quality of education in government schools according to indiatoday.in

“There must be no compromise. Recruitment of teachers, maintenance of school buildings and infrastructure issues were among the points discussed in the meeting,” he said to the IANS.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has welcomed the initiative.

“Delhi government will be more than happy to share its experiences with the government of Karnataka,” he said to IANS.

Steps taken by the government of other states to improve the education system:

  1. The motive to promote education across the entire nation is on full pace. Recently, the Delhi Government renovated government schools to provide proper premises and infrastructure to the students.
  2. Similarly, the Chief Minister of Punjab inaugurated a smart school in Ludhiana.
  3. The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education uploaded the e-versions of all their textbooks for high school students from classes 9 to 12.
