As per the Intellectual Property India Annual Report released by the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs, and Trademarks, Government of India, LPU filed an impressive 1,418 patents, surpassing collective filings of institutions like the IITs (1,106 patents) and NITs (417 patents).
