New Delhi, August 04, 2022: The Jamnabai Narsee Alumni Association presented the fourth edition of Aashayein by Cascade on 30th July, 2022. This event provided a platform for them to express their skills in Art, Dance, Music, Sport along with various innovative activities. As part of the Jamnabai Narsee Alumni Association’s vision to an all-inclusive community, this event was incepted to provide an equal opportunity to students from lesser privileged backgrounds. The winners of this competition were provided a fully funded scholarship sponsored by JNAA to further their talent.
This event saw the participation of over 500 children from 17 NGOs across Mumbai. The day was filled with genuine smiles and wholesome laughter which truly made it an event to remember.
The closing ceremony was graced by the renowned actor, Mr. Kiku Sharda, as the chief guest. The events were judged by eminent personalities like Ms. Anita Hassanandani Reddy, Mr. Chetan Hansraj, Ms. Arsh Tanna, Ms. Vyoma Nandi and Ms. Manasi Rach to name a few.
An unforgettable memory is the ‘Fun Fair’ which was filled with fun games, prizes, music & dance which each and every child cherished to the fullest. The event ended on a high note with everyone dancing to ‘Bum Bum Bole’ and ‘Aashayein’.
Not just the participants but each and every one who had attended this event left with only sweet memories and a feeling of fulfilment, resonating the Chairperson, Tamanna Tanna’s feeling, “Main aasha karli hu ki aapki umeed udaan bhare.”
The JNAA believes that everyone has an inner genius in them, all they need is a chance to show that and so it aims to emphasise its message of equality through Aashayein by Cascade.
Aashayein indeed was a befitting curtain raiser for Cascade 27 — India’s largest inter school cultural and sports festival which is to be held on 13th & 14th August 2022.
