Pune, June 09, 2021: Ajeenkya DY Patil University organises its first Skill Development Summit to develop essential 21st-century skills and world-class standards which will help students to succeed in their career and life. The primary aim of this summit is to promote the development of skills such as Emotional Intelligence, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Storytelling, Conflict management and Decision-making.

The skill development summit, curated by Prof.Nirupama Prakash, Head of School of Liberal shall provide 10 hours of training to the students at no cost. This program will greatly benefit the students to achieve the most coveted 21st-century skills.
The virtual summit was inaugurated by Prof. Hrridaysh Deshpande, Hon. Vice-Chancellor of Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Pune on 3rd June where he reiterated the importance of skill development and the opportunities that these skills can pave the way for successful careers in today’s fast-moving world. Prof Deshpande reaffirmed that Ajeenkya DY Patil University shall be committed to the skill development among the youth and future of this nation.
The event, grand in its size and commitment was graced by Mr Bipin Datar, an expert in the field, who guided the students on the importance of emotional intelligence. The session’s key takeaways were the current-day relevance of EQ and the techniques to inculcate the skill.
The summit will continue till July 08, 2021, and discuss various interesting topics such as Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Storytelling, Conflict management and Decision-making.
