Bengaluru, June 06, 2026: Bhartiya Urban Pvt. Ltd. has been awarded Fastest Plantation of 1,000 Saplings award Conducted by an Organisation, earning recognition from both the India Book of Records (IBR) and the Asia Book of Records (ABR) on World Environment Day.
The plantation drive was carried out across Bhartiya Urban sites, government schools and educational institutions in Karnataka. The drive brought together employees, students, community members and other stakeholders with a shared focus on promoting greener and more sustainable spaces.
The achievement was formally adjudicated in accordance with the guidelines and criteria prescribed under the International Protocol of Records (IPR). Following the successful completion of the initiative, Bhartiya Urban has become eligible for inclusion in the upcoming editions of both the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records.
The felicitation ceremony was held on World Environment Day, a global observance dedicated to encouraging awareness and action for environmental protection. Through the plantation drive, Bhartiya Urban sought to highlight the importance of increasing green cover and fostering community participation in sustainability efforts.
