Bangalore, January 07, 2026: Canadian International School (CIS) marks a significant milestone in its sporting calendar with the 11th edition of its Juniors Golf Tournament for students, set to take place on January 28, 2026, at Prestige Golfshire, Devanahalli, Bangalore. Over the years, the tournament has evolved into a recognised platform for young golfers across India, bringing together skill, discipline, and sportsmanship on one of Bangalore’s premier courses.
Open to all student golfers aged 6 to 18, the tournament will see participants from various schools around the country compete across multiple categories aligned with IGU guidelines. The format includes 18-hole stroke play for Categories A, B, C, and D, and 9-hole stroke play for Category E, offering age-appropriate yet competitive experiences for players at different stages of their golfing journey.
What began as a school-led sporting initiative has grown into an annual fixture that reflects CIS’s broader commitment to learning beyond classrooms. The tournament places equal emphasis on technical ability and the values the sport instils, focus, integrity, patience, and strategic thinking.
