New Delhi, October 27, 2023 : J.D. Birla Institute organized its yearly Freshers’ Welcome Party on September 15, 2023. All the newly admitted first-year students had been looking forward to this day. Prof. Deepali Singhee, the principal, welcomed the students to the enjoyable evening at the Vidya Mandir Auditorium. The senior students entertained the newcomers with a variety of dance and musical performances and a show showcasing their talents was put-up by the freshers’ themselves. Awards were granted to the outstanding performers after a jury comprised of teaching and non-teaching staff members and senior students assessed and judged their performance in dance and music. The day’s high point was the Miss and Mr. Fresher and other awards together with the JAM session at the main campus. Students danced to scintillating music till late evening. It indeed was an evening to remember.
