Kolkata, October 13, 2023: J.D. Birla Institute, affiliated to Jadavpur University, held its annual Award Ceremony recently at The Park, Kolkata, wherein deserving faculty members were awarded for their academic performance, significant contribution to the college and paper publication for the academic session 2022-2023. This event is held annually under the auspices of Vidya Mandir Society which is the sponsoring trust of the college. Mr. Dhruba Mukherjee, CEO of ABP Group, was the Chief Guest and delivered the keynote address. Shri. S K Birla, Chairman Vidya Mandir Society, and Mrs. Sumangala Birla, Chairperson of Governing Body of J. D. Birla Institute, also graced the occasion. The award comprised of a citation and cash ward. The evaluation was done in an objective manner by focusing on the documented performance of the faculty over the past year.
