New Delhi, February 16, 2023: The Skill Development Division at KL deemed-to-be-University, Hyderabad Campus is proud to announce that 16 of its B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering course students have successful completed the EC Council Certified Ethical Hacker program. Out of the 25 elite students trained by KL, 16 students have qualified and achieved the prestigious “CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker Level L2” certification.
The University has recently collaborated with EC-Council Academia as a Partner to enhance the skills of its students and provide them training and global certifications in the cyber security domain. EC-Council, the global leader in cybersecurity education and accreditation, has welcomed the University as an academia partner to the premium league of EC-Council Partners. KL Deemed to be University will now have access to the EC-Council’s ASPEN portal and other resources to support its students in their pursuit of cyber security careers.

Throughout the year, EC-Council will engage the students in cybersecurity industry webinars, first-look sessions, and workshops aimed at creating awareness and educating them about the cybersecurity workspace. The university will also have access to EC-Council’s world-class cybersecurity programs, including course integration in KLH’s undergraduate and postgraduate cybersecurity curriculum, as well as short-term boot camp training on EC-Council certifications.
The Cyber Security & Block Chain Research Group under the Department of CSE at KL deemed-to-be-university is led by Dr. S. Balaji, an expert in Cyber Forensics and part of the ANGULI Project, Government of India. The group conducts research to increase the security and privacy of information and communication systems and promote innovation in security and privacy theories, concepts, and methods. The group recently conducted an international conference on cybersecurity trends in collaboration with SERB, India, to solve real-world cybersecurity problems and encourage discussion across academia, government, enterprise, defence, and security agencies, media, and the general public.
