Mumbai, December 23, 2023 : JBCN International School, Borivali, recently concluded its annual spectacle, Jamboree 2023, marking another enchanting chapter in the school’s rich tradition. The school was filled with the resonating harmonies of artistic expression, showcasing the exceptional talents of young learners across various performing art genres.
This multi-day annual festival is a testament to JBCN’s unwavering commitment to nurturing excellence, creativity, and ethical values. The 2023 edition took the audience on a mesmerising journey through timeless classics, imaginative adaptations, and original productions, weaving a vibrant tapestry of enthralling experiences that left an indelible mark.
The festivities started by captivating the audience with the timeless tale of the “Wizard of Oz.” The journey continued with “Moonlings,” a production imparting valuable lessons about learning from failures. Learners beautifully brought Shakespeare’s “Comedy of Errors” to life, offering a lighter perspective on life’s intricacies. Noteworthy productions included “Ravanleela” and the intriguing drama “The Government Inspector.” The grand finale dazzled the audience with a fusion of Indian and Western classical music and dance in a mesmerising musical and dance show titled “Melody Mosaic and Mudra Mosaic.” Beyond the spectacular on-stage performances, learners actively contributed as writers, assistant directors, and producers.
Our young Changemakers continue to dedicate themselves to giving back to society. They raised funds for underprivileged schools supported by JBCN, Borivali. The event promised a delightful experience with engaging games, delectable food stalls, and a display of unique handmade items crafted by the talented Learning Space Foundation (LSF) team. The Entrepreneurship Club learners also organised a book exhibition and sale, with proceeds contributing to the community service programme.
