Faridabad, March 13, 2025: Strengthening its leadership in technology-driven education, ManavRachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS), in collaboration with IIT Kanpur, recently hosted the North Zone SPOC Felicitation cum Awareness Workshop under the SWAYAM NPTEL initiative, a flagship program of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The event brought together educators, researchers, and students from eight states (Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand) to explore the future of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and interdisciplinary learning.
ManavRachna has been consistently recognized for its excellence in digital learning, ranking among the top local chapters in India with an ‘AA’ rating, and securing top positions in Haryana for its contributions to the SWAYAM NPTEL program.
Academic experts, including Prof. Dr. Satyaki Roy, National Coordinator, SWAYAM-NPTEL IIT Kanpur, and Dr. AnganaSengupta, Local Chapter Coordinator, IIT Kanpur, shared insights on strengthening institutions’ digital learning infrastructure. Dr. Kamlesh Sharma, Associate Dean Academics, MRIIRS, has played a pivotal role in the success of the NPTEL Local Chapter, earning multiple accolades for the university.
Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor, MRIIRS, lauded the efforts of the faculty and students in embracing digital learning.
