PW School of Startups is ready to support India’s entrepreneurs with mentorship and funding

New Delhi, November 13, 2024: PW School of Startups, an initiative by Physics Wallah, has wrapped up its first cohort, Aarambh 1.0, seeking to bring together aspiring entrepreneurs from across India. Building on its first leg, the second cohort Aarambh 2.0, is now open for applications and is set to begin on November 19, 2024, at the Noida campus. PW School of Startups aims to nurture young talent and give India’s future founders the support they need to take their ideas to the next level. PW School of Startups aims to back aspiring entrepreneurs with both mentorship and financial resources.

This five-day residential program welcomed participants from across India, including from Motihari in Bihar to Kochi in Kerala. Aarambh 1.0 sought to provide an engaging learning experience, featuring sessions from industry figures like Shantanu Deshpande, CEO of Bombay Shaving Company, professors from IIM and DTU, PW’s Chief Technology and Product Officer – Vineet Govil, and VP of Product – Yogesh Shukla. These mentors shared practical insights on startup skills, covering topics from unit economics and MVP (minimum viable product) development to brand building and effective pitching.

During the program, enrolled students presented a diverse range of ideas aimed at creating local impact. Some of the projects included a platform connecting local shopkeepers with nearby customers and an eco-sustainable solution offering organic fertilizers to support farmers, among many other ideas.

After Aarambh 1.0, PW School of Startups is gearing up to launch Aarambh 2.0, starting November 19, 2024, at the Noida campus. This next program intends to build on the momentum, bringing together another group of aspiring entrepreneurs from across the country, including cities like Patna, Bhopal, Indore, Lucknow, Jaipur, and more.
