In the times of virtual learning, schools of Delhi NCR have remodelled their Independence Day rituals to keep the fervour of this important day alive in students and staff members. Tools like Live Streaming are going to be proving resourceful for the school authorities in conducting the Independence Day celebrations creatively.

Ms. Seema Kaur, Principal, Pacific World School, Greater Noida elaborated that the school would be hosting a mix of virtual events related to the history of this day. She also added, ” Creative craft activities will also be a part of our celebration, our sincere efforts would be to make students realize the value of sacrifice made by our freedom fighters and their duties as a responsible citizen.Group discussions on relevance of freedom in present times would be arranged for senior classes, and face paintings, t-shirt painting, fancy dress, slogan recital activities would be for the junior classes.”

Painting and colouring competitions would also be arranged for the junior classes on the theme of Tricolour.”
