New Delhi, December 19, 2024: Vikalp, a new-age global online school, that also specialises in offering experiential learning programs has recently announced the opening of admissions for the Spring session, starting April 2025 for Nursery to Grade 12.
Incepted with an aim to democratize school education, Vikalp provides quality education online to enhance learning outcomes by making a shift from blackboard teaching to experiential learning. It enables students to not only memorize and understand but also learn to apply, analyse, evaluate and create.
As part of the upcoming academic year, Vikalp will provide active experimentation with learning tools, reflection and critical thinking via discussions, reinforcement and practice on mobile games, application on books & workbooks and assessment for learning and assessment of learning.
Delighted with the announcement, Neha Choudhry, Co-founder & Chief Idea Officer at Vikalp India said, “At Vikalp, we believe in the democratization of education and that’s why we do not admit only good students and exclude the rest. As per our inclusive policy, we admit students with special needs as well by carefully assessing their understanding level.”
The admissions at Vikalp are taken based on a small video interaction between educators and students to understand the student’s level so that an adequate grade/batch/teacher can be allocated. The school offers different batches for above-average and below-average students and practices child-centric learning. Additionally, it customizes education as per the child’s needs and preferences.
The parents can apply for admission of their children for Preschool (Nursery K1-K2), Primary School (Grade 01-05), Middle School (Grade 06-08) and Senior School (Grade 09-12).
Under the primary school schedule, there will be four batches with different timing and frequency of three days a week while for the middle school, there will be three batches for four days a week. However, for senior school, there will be three batches for 5 days a week.
Furthermore, each academic year is divided into three parts or trimesters. Vikalp follows the trimester system and completes the syllabus in the minimum period of 9 months.
Parents can get details of the admission process on Vikalp’s official website: https://vikalpindia.com/admissions/. They can also get in touch with the school’s counsellor for a complete enrolment process.
