Mumbai, October 06, 2023: Artha School of Entrepreneurship, a non-profit organization, has formed a strategic alliance with the Maharashtra State Innovation Society to launch the Maharashtra Startup Acceleration Program. The collaboration has been undertaken to foster a culture of entrepreneurship in the state and accelerate the journeys of entrepreneurs in scaling their ventures, with a larger vision of contributing to the country’s economic and social prosperity.
Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS) established under the Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of Maharashtra aims to cultivate innovative approaches and solutions that contribute towards minimizing economic divides in the state. Under its annual flagship program ‘Startup Week’, it has supported around 120 startups across sectors to date. In conjunction with this partnership, Artha School of Entrepreneurship will host 4 days of intensive, practical, problem-solving sessions through workshops coached by founders and experts who have successfully scaled up businesses including the likes of T.N Hari (Co-Founder of Artha School of Entrepreneurship & an Angel Investor), Deeblena Majumdar (Author and Entrepreneur), Hari Saraf (Co-founder and CEO – Key Venture) & Sachin Oswal (Co-founder of Originity LLP & an Angel investor).

This initiative will mentor 25 small and medium-sized enterprises across sectors like Education, Retail, Technology, Entertainment, and Robotics, amongst others to impart the practical knowledge and abilities needed to scale their ventures, sustainably. Both, the Artha School of Entrepreneurship and MSInS have a keen interest in the growth of Bharat entrepreneurs. They believe that entrepreneurship is sector, scale, and geography agnostic, and with the right guidance, every startup can flourish in its desired trajectory. This cohort will consist of 4 modules, namely, Organization & Culture, Founder Growth and Evolution, Funding and Capitalization, and Building a Sustainable Business.
