KL Deemed to be University Stands 1st at New Code of Education Award 2023

New Delhi, December 08,  2023 :  KL Deemed to be University secured the ‘First Rank’ in the ‘Deemed to be University’ Category at the ‘New Code of Education 2023 Awards’ for Higher Education institutions in India. This distinguished award was bestowed for the University’s exemplary contributions to the academic landscape, particularly recognizing its outstanding efforts in the “Contribution to the Growth, Facilitation, and Adoption of Top-Notch Digital Practices for the Advancement of Education” within the University.  Wheebox, host of the New Code of Education Awards 2023, adjudged the University for embracing innovative solutions to overcome the challenges in education and technology.

 The University’s name resonated in the august gathering, graced by notable personalities in the education sector. Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of the National Educational Technology Forum, Chairman of EC National Assessment and Accreditation Council, and Chairman of NBA, served as the Chief Guest. Apart from that, Dr. RS Sharma, IAS(R), Distinguished Visiting Professor at IIT Kanpur, Former Secretary to the Government of India, Former Chairman of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), and Former CEO of National Health Authority (NHA), added to the distinguished presence. Additionally, Mr. Nirmal Singh – Founder & CEO, of Wheebox, honored the occasion as the Guest of Honor.

The University was recognized for fulfilling various digital technologies and development of infra facilities’ criteria in the academics. State-of-the-art studios and self-recording facilities are set up to allow students to capture education and realize their dreams. The recorded videos are stored in the ERP and LMS system. This will ensure easy access and long-term availability to students 24 hours a day. Leveraging artificial intelligence in these applications can reexamine and enhance the content of lectures, aiming to improve the overall learning experience for students. Teachers can use them for self-development and continuous learning. It promotes a culture of self-paced learning in line with modern educational trends.
