Jaipur, June 02, 2025: The Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) is delighted to announce the launch of the 2 to 7 Minute Movie Making Competition – 2025. This exciting initiative offers a golden opportunity to young and aspiring filmmakers from schools, colleges, and universities to express their stories and filmmaking talent on a global stage.
Capture your dreams on camera and bring them to the big screen!
The competition is designed to empower students passionate about filmmaking. Participants are free to choose any theme, and entries are welcome in both fiction and non-fiction categories.
Competition Guidelines:
- Each team must consist of 4 to 10 students from any academic discipline.
- Film duration must be between 2 to 7 minutes.
- Allowed shooting devices: Mobile phones, video cameras, or film cameras.
- Submission deadline: 30th June 2025.
- Entry fee: INR 1500 per film per team.
- Results announcement: August 2025.
Awards and Recognition:
Based on the quality and number of entries, 5 to 21 best films will be selected and honored. The total prize pool is worth INR 1.00 lakh. Winners will receive certificates and cash prizes. The most popular film will receive the Audience Choice Award.
Special Benefits for Participants:
- Screening of the awarded films at JIFF 2026 (9th to 13th January 2026).
- Free delegate registration for JIFF and the New Delhi Film Festival (NDFF).
- An exclusive opportunity to interact and network with renowned filmmakers, industry experts, and festival representatives.
