Renowned Journalist Kaveree Bamzai Joins AAFT School of Journalism & Mass Communication as Industry Dean

Noida April 18, 2025: Ms. Kaveree Bamzai, a senior journalist with a distinguished career in media, joins AAFT as the Industry Dean of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Her insightful reporting and editorial leadership have made a significant impact in the field of journalism, and we are honored to have her expertise as she leads our journalism program. She has spent over 30 years in journalism, becoming the first woman editor of India Today. She has also worked with Indian Express and the Times of India. She is the author of “Three Khans and The Emergence of New India”, “No Regrets: The Guilt-Free Women’s Guide to a Good Life”; and “Bollywood Today”; her wealth of knowledge and experience will greatly benefit our students and faculty, enhancing the educational experience and providing unique opportunities for professional growth.

In her role as Industry Dean, Ms. Kaveree Bamzai will create and develop innovative journalism courses that respond to industry needs, leverage her substantial network to forge learning and career opportunities, and motivate students with her very experienced capacity and good counsel to excel with confidence and creativity in the very dynamic, fast-changing world of journalism.
